We all know what are Termites and what they do.
Here I am telling about a special species of termite which is found in India.
It is more of a social termite.

RESERVATION SYSTEM
It is actually a queen termite which is eating India from inside and creating an internal disability for India to proceed on the path of development.
Before proceeding further I would like to tell you exactly how and when it took birth in India -
During India's pre-independence era,in 1906 Muslims in India also demanded fair representation in power sharing with the British government along with The Hindus.
The British Government provided a separate electorate system for Muslims in Government of India in 1909 and as a result 117 seats out of 250 were kept reserved for the Muslims.
The general elections of 1937 were held on the basis of the extended separate electorates, where only the Muslims voted for 117 seats in Bengal.
Again during the Round-Table conferences in 1930-1932, the concept of separate electorates for the so-called untouchables (now called Dalits) was raised by Dr. B.R Ambedkar as a way to ensure sufficient representation for the Dalits in government.
This provision was strongly opposed by Gandhi.
He believed that it would create disputes among the Hindus.
After several negotiations finally a compromise was reached where there were certain constituencies reserved for the Dalits, where they could elect 4 candidates for elections by the joint assembly.
This was the first time when reservation was given to minorities in India and it is still in continuation today.
I don't think I need to tell you about this, we all are aware of the current scenario in India.
Here is the series of communities given reservation in India-
1. Dalits
2. Anglo-Indian
3. Scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST)
4. Other Backward castes (OBC)
Recently in 2015 Rajasthan government promised to give 5% reservation in government jobs to gujjars.
The Jat protest is still going on,we know about the violence that took place in Haryana regarding the Jat quota in which 20 people were killed, more than 200 were injured.
In About 10 days of violence the state beared the loss of approximately 20,000 crores.

Not only Jats and gujjars, there are several other communities who are demanding reservation like 'Kapus in Andhra Pradesh' and 'Patels in Gujarat.'
Is is right to provide such reservations and that too on the basis of caste and community.
On one hand you talk about equality that all the people are equal in India and no discrimination should be there on the basis of caste, religion and community, and on the other hand you give Reservations and concession quota to certain castes and communities.
Is this not discrimination?
We can understand that the conditions of such communities were not so good around 1930's in India.
But it's 2016 and we are almost a century ahead.
India has changed a lot during this passage of time, now all are getting equal opportunities to show their talents, study and work.
Yes its true that there's still inequality and Financial gaps in India and our government is doing work on its behalf to overcome this problem but I believe that providing reservations and concession quota is not the solution.
For example-
A general student couldn't clear the IAS exam because he couldn't clear the cut-off list and a student scoring lesser marks gets the concession quota and clears the exam just because he/she belongs to certain caste or community.
Don't you think less deserving persons are selected for leading the country and deserving people can't do anything other than cursing themselves and their fate.
"TO ME IT SEEMS LIKE A LESS SKILLED CAPTAIN IS SAILING THE SHIP."
And we know what can happen if a less skilled captain sails the ship, it's not certain how much time it would take to reach its destination or it would be able to even make it or not.
If India wants to enhance its
rate of development then the government should take immediate steps regarding this topic.
If you ask me, I would say that reservation system should not be there in India or some changes should be made in its pattern i.e Reservation should be given to individuals that too on the basis of their annual income and shouldn't be given to any caste and community.

Exactly.....this isn't termites...they are QUEEN TERMITES. Reservation system never bought equality in India rather the deserving candidates are done injustice and the whole of this India is towards darkness.
